We had a fabulous time with politicians, education specialists and the business community at our launch with Swarm on Thursday 18 September. It marks the start of an exciting initiative which will broaden the horizons of the young people of Framlingham, helping them fulfil their potential by learning new skills and working with local entrepreneurs.
We were so pleased that our local MP, Dan Poulter, was able to speak. He said:
“It is a pleasure to support these two great initiatives. We want to help every young person to be the very best they can be to make sure they can be productive in their work and enjoy happy, successful lives.”
Our founder, Jenny Stockman said to the young people in the audience:
“We’re going to scare you, take you places you’ve never been, give you privileges and opportunities.”
The audience also heard from Chris Perry and Robert Ashton from Swarm, youth worker Tim Kerr and 17 year old Emelia Garvie who is already benefiting from the scheme.
Young people who would still like to join should e mail firstname.lastname@example.org
